Sometimes math is hard. (Ok a lot of times math is hard). But these kiddos are learning what it means to work together and persevere. It begins by viewing a short 30 second clip and talking about what we notice and wonder, mathematically. Then we take one of those wonderings and talk about the information that we need to figure out the answer to our question. The kids are given a little more info and then they are off to work together and answer it! Here are some pictures from the "Downsizing Tomatoes" challenge we worked on today!
